I tell stories that romanticize the everyday,

making the ordinary feel extraordinary

through writing and visual storytelling.

If Mindy Kaling, Anna Wintour, and Jenny Han had a très chic dancing baby, blending humor, a love for beauty, and heart

Raised between gritty, colorful South Central and Inglewood while attending dreamy private school in LA, I was an eldest daughter balancing opposing worlds. Dance and writing were my escape, and my instinct for storytelling evolved into a career as a professional big sis, writing coming-of-age stories for TV, film, and novels. My work lives at the intersection of dreamy glamour and the grit of real life, creating worlds that feel lived-in but slightly off: with a symmetry that shouldn’t exist, a subject who takes up space where they “shouldn’t.”

Most recently, I was an in-house writer for original romance series at Pocket FM. Before that, I was a Writers' Assistant on Amazon’s Yearly Departed and Showrunner's Assistant on Netflix’s First Kill. I co-created the comedy web series Sad-A** Black Folk, ranked the #1 web series to watch by Shadow & Act and sponsored by Headspace. My dance film I Tried So Hard for You premiered on Blavity TV in 2022. I’ve produced branded shoots for clients like Walmart and Hoorae, and directed campaigns and social content for boutique brands like Koy & Victoria. I earned my BA in World Arts and Cultures/Dance from UCLA and my MFA from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts

When I’m not telling stories, I’m likely stretching to get my splits back and relive my glory days as a dancer.
